"Jasmine Cascade"

We have just made our first prototype of this new product.

Mrs. H had the idea when she saw our Peony stand at the Sherborne Artisan Market, and liking a challenge, we said we'd make one....Pictures in it's own section.

Stock Gaylard's Annual 'Oak Fair'

We are very much looking forward to exhibiting at this year's Oak Fair - Featuring the famous 'Adam's Axemen', tree climbing, scarecrow making and falconry it looks to be a great day out for us country folk! Whilst Ellie will be roaming the Masaii Mara on safari Sam's parents will be stepping in to help with what should be a busy day for us!

Please come and visit the stall on Sat 24th August!!

Sherborne Artisan Market

Butterfly Bright in Sherborne hosted its second Artisan market yesterday in Sherborne (for more details see www.butterflybright.com).  Entry to the fair was free and the standard of goods for sale at the stalls was staggering. One of us was particularly taken with the bags made by Nicky Massey at www.lovethatbagonline.co.uk...

Despite having a lovely breezy spot outside we were soon dealing with 32 degrees but the organisers looked after us all extremely well with cups of tea, water for the dog and delicious cream teas with Champagne Strawberry Jam in the afternoon!  The cheery buskers kept going all day attracting passing trade in - they were the stars of the show! Who were these buskers?!

One savvy customer spotted the fire brazier in our display and suggested they could be used to hold Finnish candles.  Stick 'Finnish candles' into Google and you'll see what they are....you can imagine what Sam is going to be spending his time working on now...! Keep checking the website or follow us on Twitter and you'll be the first to see the finished prototypes!

Door stops!

I made some simple weights to stop the gazebo blowing away at Poundbury...and I'm so pleased with them that they will be redesigned to make serious door stops (think cannon ball in a holy grail style frameork....)

Dorset Festival!

Sunday 7th July 7am

A huge thank you to all that attended the Dorset Festival at Queen Mother Square in Poundbury yesterday.

Our first outing with the stall and we thoroughly enjoyed our first day with lots of positive feedback and a good few orders and sales.

Thank you to the stall holders who made us feel so welcome during the day and helped in the chaos of setting everything up at 'early o'clock'!

....Best get going for another sweltering day in the gazebo!

See you there!
